CALL TO ORDER

Acting Chair Selena Schmidt called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

ATTENDANCE

Present:  Selena Schmidt, Mark Reinstein, Kevin Fischer, Malkia Newman
Absent:  Kelly Riegel-Green, Marie Jackson
Staff Present:  Michelle Roberts, Theresa Diebolt

APPOINTMENT OF NEW MEMBERS

Schmidt initiated a discussion regarding the appointment of new members, and asked members to consider the three applicants for appointment to the Council and asked for a motion. 

Malkia Newman MOVED to appoint Lois Shulman to the PAIMI Advisory Council, and Kevin Fischer seconded.

ROLL CALL VOTE:

AYES:  Schmidt, Fischer, Newman, Reinstein 
NAYS:  none
Motion carried.

Mark Reinstein MOVED to appoint Amanda Absher to the PAIMI Advisory Council, and Kevin Fischer seconded.

ROLL CALL VOTE:

AYES:  Schmidt, Fischer, Newman, Reinstein 
NAYS:  none
Motion carried.

Kevin Fischer MOVED to appoint Davin Hemmila to the PAIMI Advisory Council, and Mark Reinstein seconded.

ROLL CALL VOTE:

AYES:  Schmidt, Fischer, Newman, Reinstein 
NAYS:  none
Motion carried.

Appointment of Chair/Vice Chair

Schmidt initiated a conversation regarding the appointment of Chair and Vice Chair. 

Malkia Newman MOVED to appoint Malkia Newman as Chair of the PAIMI Advisory Council, and Mark Reinstein seconded.

ROLL CALL VOTE:

AYES:  Schmidt, Fischer, Newman, Reinstein 
NAYS:  none
Motion carried.

Malkia Newman MOVED to recommend Marie Jackson as Vice Chair of the PAIMI Advisory Council, and Mark Reinstein seconded.

ROLL CALL VOTE:

AYES:  Schmidt, Fischer, Newman, Reinstein 
NAYS:  none
Motion carried.

An email will be sent to all PAC members to vote on the appointment of Chair and Vice Chair of the PAIMI Advisory Council. If members do not respond by the deadline, their vote will be considered as yes.

There being no further business, Schmidt adjourned the meeting at 2:54 pm.
