We apply our limited direct advocacy and litigation resources to effect systemic change, in order to impact the most pressing expressed needs of the largest number of people possible.

Direct advocacy often involves long-term commitments, direct communication between DRM and opposing parties or their counsel, and formal appearances in administrative proceedings or court. DRM provides direct advocacy through attorneys and, when permitted by law, non-attorney advocates. When providing direct advocacy, DRM acts according to a retainer agreement setting forth the issues on which representation is provided and the actions DRM will take to provide that representation.
